About

The Business & Economics Specialists (BECOS) was founded in the Autumn of 2012 by Michael Dunn, originally based in Belfast but operations quickly expanded to Dublin & London. We believe that every student has the potential to excel in academia. The aim of BECOS was to create a service that fostered an environment and atmosphere for students to thrive and develop to their full potential regardless of their background. We have worked with students both domestically and internationally, providing an excellent service that values the well-being of students along with academic excellence, it's more than just tutoring.

We provide high-quality tuition services for families, schools and academic institutions worldwide.
Our support is available through safe and secure online lessons as well as in-person classes in Ireland.

In addition to one-to-one and group tuition, we offer tailor-made packages for schools and institutions through our School Outreach Services (SOS). These programmes cover GCSE, A Level, BTEC, International Baccalaureate, and professional Business & Economics qualifications.

From school entrance exams right through to adult learning, we deliver expert guidance every step of the way. To ensure the best learning experience, we use the latest interactive software, making every lesson both engaging and effective.

When our specialist Economics teacher left, we faced a real challenge in finding a replacement. Initially, we even considered stopping the course altogether. However, with both Year 12 and Year 13 students needing to complete their studies and exams, we urgently needed support.
